Protect Your Personal Information

Never share identifying details that could be used to locate you offline. This includes your full name, home address, workplace, phone number, email, social media handles, or daily routine. Remember: someone you just met online doesn't need to know these things about you.

Use a Nickname

Control Your Video & Audio

You have complete control over your camera and microphone. Feel free to turn off video if you're not comfortable, or use text-only mode. If someone refuses to turn off their camera after you request it, or shows inappropriate content, report them immediately and disconnect.

Trust Your Instincts

If a conversation feels uncomfortable, weird, or off in any way, trust your gut and end it immediately. Use the "Stop" or "Next" button to leave. You don't owe anyone your time or attention. Your comfort and safety come first.

Report Inappropriate Behavior

If someone violates our community guidelines—harassment, inappropriate content, requests for personal information—use the "Report" feature. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly and takes action, including banning offenders. Reporting helps keep the community safe for everyone.

Be Mindful of Scams

Beware of users trying to sell products, promote external websites, or ask for money. Never send money or financial information to someone you meet on the platform. If someone asks for favors or tries to move the conversation to another app/platform, be cautious—this is often a red flag.

Use a Secure Connection

Always use a secure, private internet connection when chatting. Avoid public Wi-Fi networks when possible, as they can be less secure. Ensure your device's software and browser are up to date for the best security protections.

Set Boundaries Early

It's okay to set clear boundaries from the start. Let the other person know if certain topics or requests make you uncomfortable. If they respect you, they'll understand. If they don't, that's a clear sign to end the chat.
